Release Date and Design of the Redmi 15C

The Redmi 15C was announced and released on the 1st day of August, 2025, making it one of the most recent smartphone releases of the year 2025.

The REDMI 15C has a very sleek design, a trademark or Hallmark of Xiaomi mobile devices. It has comoact dimensions measuring 171.6×79×8mm, which translates to about 6.76 inches, making it relatively slim and easy to carry. It has a weight if 205 milligrams, it is light and it features the Gorilla Glass 3.

This gives the users flexibility in their budgets and usage needs. It also has a microSD card slot for more storage expansion.

The REDMI 15C runs on the latest version of Android -the Android 15- with a HyperOS 2. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G81 Ultra Chip-set built on a 12mm process. The processor includes an octa-core setup with two high performance 2.0GHz cortex-A75 cores paired with six efficient 1.8GHz cortex-A55 cores. Its graphics processing is handled by the Mali G52 MC2 Graphics Processing Unit, suitable for moderate gaming and everyday multimedia tasks. Expect some lag when you run heavy duty gaming on high graphics.

The Redmi 15C is also rated IP64 for dust and water resistance (water splashes).
